I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Out of all the DIY books this is the best on the market! Believe me I have done my research on this one. The books layout is very approachable for those of us unseasoned DIY enthusiasts and is packed with helpful drawings. I have recently bought my first house which needs a lot repairs and this book will be my bible throughout. I am an interior designer by trade and this book has taught me useful things which I thought I should know in my professional life. An excellent allround reference. Dont hesitate - buy it!

Very easy to follow instructions |

We are both keen but amateur DIY enthusiasts and had previously only a very old Readers Digest manual. We wanted to tile the bathroom floor so sent for this book. All is now clear on so many jobs both past and future. The pictures make each job so easy to understand that we now cant wait to have a go! Seems like every project is covered and we wish we had bought this long ago.
